I will be putting together (well, not me, just my friend) a new computer next week. The previous one burned up last August. The drives survived, and hopefully I can get all my files back intact so I can get back to programming my Skeli game. If not, well. I’ll be very disappointed.
The new computer will basically sweep (I already have the parts), but I’ll be moving the hard drives and graphics card from the old one (hopefully it will work!). I’m going to finish Skeli and start either a Sky Roads clone or my first FPS ever. There are many plans for the future, but unfortunately none of them are certain. It all depends on how the new computer performs. The only thing that is certain is that I will get back to programming games and recording tutorials on YouTube.
The closer I get to the moment when I put the new PC on my desk, the more I can’t wait. I think I’m going to be very confused because over the past year without a computer, I’ve had a lot of ideas and desires that I’ve had no way to accomplish. Chaos has set in and it will probably be a while before I get down to my major projects.
I’m also thinking about organizing everything, both on the computer (GITHub, folders, programs) and physically on my desk. I always end up with a mess, unfortunately. We’ll see how it goes. In any case, I’m looking forward to it.
